A few months later, Sage and I were back together, full of mutual apologies and grand promises. It was going to be better because we had worked everything out. We went through the whole cycle, from initial contact to breakup, once again. This time around it ended after the first tantrum.
Years later, Sage still has a strong online presence and connections with a range of groups and people. Sage writes as well and spins as deftly as ever. I have little contact with anyone I knew then, and none with Sage. I sometimes run into one of Sage’s love bombs in the comments on one blog or another. I’m sure Sage is telling many people exactly what they want to hear. I have no idea whether the tantrums are still going on, and no desire to find out.
